The Psychologist[]

The Psychologist can be either a hit or a miss. While its' main abilities may not be as beneficial as other roles, the passive can make up for it. The Psychologist's main capability is that it can take the fear from teammates up to 3 times. When using this special, make sure your hands are empty, then hold "F" on your teammate until their fear is gone. (Fear is when the screen turns a mottled black and white, slight screaming is heard, and the screen remains fuzzy until you are either in a well lit room for a length of time, or outside of the house.) The Psychologist's box, when dropped, offers calming tablets. Neither of these specials may be the most beneficial, but the passive ability can definitely help. Its first passive is that the Psychologist does not get scared themselves. While this may not seem important to those of us that have been playing the game and don't care much about the scare effect, this can help to speed up the investigation solo, since you won't have to worry about making sure the breaker stays on or allow for time to run outside to get your sanity back. The second passive, and the most beneficial, is that the Ghostbox will respond no matter where you are respective to the ghost and ghost room. Since this bit of evidence can sometimes be tricky to obtain, with this role, it does make it a bit easier.
